Judge John Smith will on Tuesday next week say whether or not lawyers for murder accused Christopher Panayiotou should be allowed to see parts of the police docket.
In the Port Elizabeth High Court today, state advocate Marius Stander said investigations would be complete around March 2016, when he would be willing to comply with the defence’s request. Until then, he feared his investigation would be placed at risk if certain information was revealed.
The Defence wants the information to bring a bail application on new facts.
