A POLICE sergeant, accused of orchestrating his wife’s murder last year, and his three co-accused appeared briefly in the Motherwell Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Suspended Sergeant Mlungisi Tsitsi , 36, who allegedly planned the murder, was refused bail last month.
Yesterday, Tsitsi appeared with Msindisi Bhebhula, 24, Thembani Rorwana, 31, and Ndiphe Soqokomashe, 46.
They are accused of masterminding the murder of his wife, Zwide policewoman Constable Nomathamsanqa Ivy, at her Motherwell home on November 12.
Last month, investigating officer Colonel Jackie Grobler testified that he was aware of three “hits” that had been arranged to kill Tsitsi and two of his coaccused should they be released on bail.
The case resumes on February 22.
