A SEARCH is under way for a missing 14-year-old girl from Port Elizabeth after family members informed the Mount Road police station that she had not been seen since Thursday evening.
Tanya Lynette Botha was last seen at about 6pm on Thursday.
According to reports, the slender, blonde girl was wearing aWestview school uniform, consisting of a blue shirt and navy blue skirt.
Police investigating her disappearance said they had, to date, not received any information and no sightings had been reported.
Dessie Rechner, director and founder of the Pink Ladies, an organisation formed to assist in finding missing children, said the group had very little information about Tanya’s disappearance.
She urged the public to be on the lookout and assist the police in any way possible.
