MYSTERY surrounds the disappearance of a 32-year-old Oudtshoorn father of two who went missing during the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees (KKNK) last week.
Patrick Brocklebank last made contact with his wife Lache after finishing a shift as a barman at one of the festival’s venues just before 10pm on Wednesday.
Lache said yesterday that he had left the venue with an acquaintance from George, who later claimed that she had dropped the missing man off at the town’s KFC at about midnight.
Police confirmed that he was reported missing and that they were investigating the circumstances around his disappearance.
He was wearing a cream-coloured T-shirt with Marvel’s Iron Man character printed on it. He was also wearing three-quarter denim pants.
