FOUR suspected perlemoen poachers were arrested at a Sherwood house shortly after midday this afternoon (26/08/2015).
According to police, the four men, who tried to flee by jumping over the back wall of the house, were arrested after a search of the surrounding bushes.
An estimate R20 000 worth of perlemoen, weighing about 30kg’s, was confiscated as well as the vehicle issued to transport it.
Police are on the scene.
