Three robbers were arrested after robbing a small holding in Crockarts Hope, near Greenbushes on Monday morning.
The robbers were caught after jumping into a getaway taxi in an attempt to evade arrest. A joint effort between police, Farm Comm neighbourhood watch and Atlas Security led to the men’s arrest.
Atlas Security operations manager Monty Montgomery said five robbers arrived at Aluminium Purpose – an aluminium product manufacturer – in Hunters Road shortly after they opened at 8am.
They held the owner at gunpoint while ransacking the shop demanding valuables.
After the men left the owner pressed a panic button.
