The bail application of murder accused Christopher Panayiotou was once again postponed in Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s court today.
The postponement comes after Magistrate Abigial Beeton was absent from proceedings this morning.
Standing in for Beeton, Magistrate Estie Petzer postponed the matter until Wednesday, 25 May 2016.
Defence advocate, Terry Price, said they have received State Prosecutor Marius Stander’s papers in opposition to the bail application and will once again respond.
Panayiotou is accused of ordering a hit on his wife, Jayde, 29, in April last year.
