A MAN was stabbed to death in the informal settlement of Reimvasmaak at the weekend following an argument over noise.
Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said Gregory Nogambula was killed shortly after an argument with a neighbour at about 6am on Saturday.
“At that time the deceased came out of his house with his girlfriend. A neighbour approached them and complained about the noise at the home of the deceased the previous night,” she said.
“The two men argued and the neighbour then left and went back to his own home.”
The neighbour allegedly returned and stabbed Nogambula twice. He died at the scene.
The suspect then fled the scene.
Janse van Rensburg said Nogambula’s girlfriend was not injured.
