AN elderly Port Elizabeth man was found partially submerged in his pool at his Glenelg Road, Fernglen, home yesterday morning.
Trevor Kitson, 67, who swam at about 5am every day, was found in the water shortly after 8am.
Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said Kitson’s wife had found him in the pool and tried to pull him out.
“Medics pronounced him dead.”
She said Kitson had had a heart condition. An inquest investigation is under way.
