AUTHORITIES yesterday confiscated R1.1 million worth of dagga during a raid on a house in Glennifer Street, Milnerton, in the Western Cape. .
The bust came after the Maitland Flying Squad received a tip that drugs were being stored at the house.
“Police found a locked room and the owner said he did not have the key,” police spokesman constable Noloyiso Rwexana said.
Rwexana said officials forced open the door and found several boxes filled with compressed dagga, weighing 35.893 kilograms.
Two men and a woman, aged between 26 and 32 years, were arrested and will appear in Cape Town Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
