POLICE confiscated a truck transporting 144 sheep and arrested the driver at a routine road block on the R334 between Motherwell and Uitenhage this morning.
The road block comes as part of a joint operation between various policing units including the Stock Theft Unit, Vehicle theft branch and traffic department.
This comes in the wake of the Bay’s state of readiness address by police and the municipality.
