A father and son as well as two teenagers were arrested yesterday for allegedly being connected to the robbery of the Adcockvale mini market in Rochelle Road on Friday night.
The four, aged between 15 and 40, were bust by the Crime Prevention Unit, who raided their homes in Kensington and Holland Park yesterday morning.
Police spokeswoman Colonel Priscilla Naidu said while the two teenagers and a 21-year-old were arrested for armed robbery, the father of one of them was also locked up for allegedly supplying the stolen gun.
Other weekend operations included Operation Lockdown, which saw two people nabbed for dealing in drugs.
Police confiscated 2 128 mandrax tablets, with a street value of R107 000, 33 packets of tik (value R990) and cash, Naidu said.
